The Happenings, famous for their 1966 hit "See You In September", had 2 songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1968; "Music Music Music", which went to #96, and their remake of Neil Sedaka's "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do". While Sedaka took "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" all the way #1, The Happenings took their mid-tempo version to #67.
