June 2, 2018 – Joseph DeLeo Lane – St.Clair and Landsdowne – Toronto – Ontario Canada The 4th year, St Clair's Best Authentic Soppressata Contest unites Soppressata-makers from across the GTA, as they bring out their best to not only be judged by an esteemed panel of salumi aficionados, but the general public as well! That means you! I repeat: Not only is the entire event free, but all guests are allowed to taste each and every cured meat that is entered to be judged during the event! Also, in our new tradition of featuring another classic cured meat from the glorious rainbow of salumi, we'll be introducing a cappicola showcase as well! For foodies who are passionate about salumi, Italian cuisine, spicy food, while being surrounded by the vibrant energy of a classic Toronto neighbourhood, this is a CAN"T MISS EVENT every year. Big thanks go to organizers David Battiston and the DeLeo family at Tre Mari Bakery on 1311 St.Clair Ave West, Toronto, in the heart of Corso Italia (Toronto), to just love the tradition to celebrate salumi and our community Thanks to my wife Stella and cousin Sal for helping me out with the iPhone.
