Torshvash is an Iranian chicken
Torshvash is an Iranian chicken stew that takes its name from a special sour-tasting wild herb, grown in the North of Iran. This dish is a rich stew made with a combination of particular herbs, chicken and fried eggplants, then like most other Persian stews, is served with Persian rice. Torshvash being a stew made distinctly tart with additional unripe grape juice is one of the most authentic tastes you can try in the Iranian cuisine. Watch this video and enjoy!
Torshvash Ingredients:
Onion
Garlic
Chicken
Green herbs like parsley, mint, green onions, spinach
Unripe-grape juice
Eggplant
Tomato paste
Salt
Turmeric
Vegetable oil
Hot water
