Bodycam DUI Arrest - Drunk Mother Thinks She's the Victim But Gets Arrested for DUI

On December 30, 2023, Hoboken Police Officers responded to a 2 vehicle traffic collision.  One vehicle appeared to slam into the back of another vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign.   However, the female driver of the at-fault vehicle immediately started claiming that the driver of the other vehicle "stopped short".   Officer Lombardi asked the woman if she had been drinking, which she denied.  However, he observed an open container of alcohol in her vehicle and called for an officer certified in conducting field sobriety tests (FSTs).    That officer arrived, administered the tests, and then placed the woman under arrest for DUI.   She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and submitted to an evidentiary breath test, where the result was 0.13% BAC.  All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
