Howto Flash a Cisco 7940/60 IP Phone to Work With a Third Party PBX (SIP) Using a Linux Box and TFTP

This not so short "video"
This not so short "video" covers how to flash a Cisco 7940/7960 phone that you have acquired when it is looking for Cisco Call Manager when you want it to work with a third party PBX such as FreePBX (Asterisk), FusionPBX (Freeswitch) or 3CX. Naturally, if you are a hardcore coder and you do not use the Freepbx or FusionPBX GUI and you use pure Asterisk or Freeswitch, this film will also cover you.
I have also covered setting up a TFTP Server and DHCP Option 150 to get the TFTP Server working using a Linux box.
I had to do this last week and I found a lot of Youtube films were not very thorough and a lot of the guides online are very confusing. I've tried to cover everything in one "video". I have not showed the phone itself as there is not much that can be added by showing it. You can admire your working phone after!
If you know how to do this using Windows or macOS, please use my video and resources to do your own comprehensive "howto" guide but please make sure it is easy for those who are just starting out and who may find some of the things that you consider "basic" to be challenging but please be kind enough to credit the GBG Academy for this original video.
