Ray Bourque is, without a doubt, one of the best defenseman in NHL history. He took the league by storm when he debuted during the 1979-80 season, and he was a force with the Bruins for the next 2 decades. However, as the 1999-2000 season drew to a close, two things were clear:  Bourque was approaching retirement, and the Bruins were not going to make a run at the Cup. Winning the Stanley Cup was the only thing missing from Bourque's amazing career. As a result, the Bruins agreed to trade Bourque to a contending Colorado Avalanche team. How did that trade work out?
