How to determine the slope of a roof

http://www.learningconstruction.com  Step by Step Tutorial:  This video will explain how to determine the slope on a roof.

Slope is normally described by the ratio of the "rise" divided by the "run" between two points on a line.  In construction, we will use the same numbers without dividing them; for example, a 1.13 % slope roofing will be a 3/12 roof.  3" will be the rise, and 12" will be run.
