Dean and Castiel are friends since childhood, the two join the army to serve their country in full war with the Japanese. They are sent separately to the battle, but in battle Castiel meets with Dean who at that moment does not recognize him. Castiel saves his best friend from dying up there, the battle is won and they all return home, Dean eventually visits Castiel and tells him what he remembers and thanks him for saving his life, and they start a relationship in secret having.
Over time Dean begins to have sleep problems and loss of consciousness that tries to kill his niece and Castiel, is arrested and boarding school for post-traumatic stress disorder.
