The 2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 S is a fearsomely fast (and much improved) machine, as Andy Enright discovers by driving it on one of Victoria’s most demanding stretches of tarmac: the Eildon-Jamieson road.
And in an even sterner test, Andy also races the AMG against a sports-car icon in the Porsche 911 Carrera. The goal? To see just how fast hot hatches have become.
