After You've Gone -- Carling Big Band 2006
In this clip from a concert in Lunds Stadsteater clarinettist Max Carling is featured on After you've Gone in his sister's Gunhild's Big Band. Max is the oldest sibling in the very talented famiy band. Father Hans ( here on trumpet) started the band around 1984 with his wife Aina and children Max, Gerd, Gunhild and Ulf.
Max has developed into a world class musician. I have never met the family personally but I have always been close through videos and now with youtube and dailymotion the rest of the world can enjoy their amazing development. A combination of hard work combined with a great feel for jazz and of course most important, their talent.
