Bonnie Doone - It's a privilege to own and manage a piece of land

Something that was really important to Carly and Grant from Bonnie Doone is the welfare of the animals in their care.

For Carly, there was a time where she didn't eat meat, which was difficult as a beef producer to be feeling that way.

But she made the decision that when they take the life of one animal, then the whole animal needs to be eaten.

By reconciling that they were happy and they had a good, calm life and that she and her family we were doing the best that they we could meant she I could eat meat again.

Their approach is to have a very light touch and just let nature really go through its own processed and rhythms, believing that the less they do, the more nature can cycle and look after itself.
