Huge aircraft carrier outbound as helicopters fly over 🇺🇸 ⚓️

The USS Theodore Roosevelt passes through San Diego Harbour outbound to sea as multiple US Navy & Coast Guard helicopters fly overhead. The Nimitz-class warship had came into Naval Base Coronado the previous day, and will likely be underway for training.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) is the fourth in it's class of Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, all of which are nuclear powered. It typically has an airwing made up of F/A-18 Hornets supported by SH-60 Sea Hawks, C-2 Grey Hounds, CMV-22 Ospreys or other similar transport aircraft (many of which are seen in this video). A US Coast Guard SH-60 Sea Hawk is also featured.
