Today I will be showing you how to create an #EASY #Fishtail braid using only a ribbon! This #braid requires NO elastics, and it could definitely be dressed up or down! Where would you wear this hairstyle? 💁🏻♀️

Step by Step Instructions:
Step 1: Use dry shampoo to absorb oils and add volume to the hair. You could also use texture spray here to add more volume and grit, if needed.
Step 2: Pick up 2 side pieces, probably about an inch on each side.
Step 3: Place a ribbon under the 2 pieces, and drop the hair on top. Bring the ribbon around the top of the hair, and tie a knot.
Step 4: Pick up 2 more pieces of hair from either side of the head, place the ribbon under them, loop it around, and tie another knot. Repeat this process down the length of the hair.
Pull and fluff as you go down the braid to get the look that you desire. You can also use texturizing powder to add grit and texture (especially useful if you’re working with fine hair)
Step 5: Once you’ve reached the end of the hair length, wrap the ribbon around the hair, bring it back to the front, and tie it in a bow.
Step 6: Fluff and tweak as needed, and then top off with some hairspray to lock in the style all day!
