John Grant and the Heritage Orchestra - The Seventh Seal (Live) - Royal Albert Hall - 25/07/2017

A brilliant and faithful version of one of Scott Walkers finest compositions, from 'Scott 4' .  One of my favourite songs which quite incredibly succeeds in getting both the plot and the feeling across, of the classic Ingmar Bergman film of the same name.  It was a very special event, (especially if these songs have soundtracked your life).  Apart from John Grant, who totally nailed Scott's voice, he shared the stage with Richard Hawley, Susanne Sundfor and the lovable Jarvis Cocker, who managed to make Scott's songs sound like Pulp standards!
