Sound series demonstration of a Gustave Villaume violin based off of the "Leduc" Guarneri del Gesú of his own dimensions. With JJ Rampal, Paris, certificate of authenticity dated 2019.
Villaume studied with Charles Jacquot of Nancy whom married into the more famous Vuillaume family and was inspired by their models. Gustave's work carries on the tradition of the more famous J.B. Vuillaume through Jacquot. LOB 356, with a dark, modulable tone, with bright harmonic content, capable of a wide dynamic range. It is available at Bay Fine Strings:
