There are many legends about this Ma Phuc Pass, especially the story of the hero Nung Tri Cao leading the local people against the Song Dynasty in the North in the middle of the 11th century. Ancient legends say that, once a week Border inspection returned, to the territory of Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district today, met the strap, the horse of Nung Tri Cao was bent and could not walk anymore. Since then, the mountain range was named An Lai and the kneeling horse was named Ma Phuc. On the top of the nail is the way to Coc Phat junction, where you can go to Tra Linh Gate in Trung Khanh district.
