Dalian Trains For MRT3

Good news for commuters! The DOTr and MRT-3 are putting three new Dalian trains into service within a week or so!

Videos are first released on Facebook: ytgadgetaddict and comments can be left there.

This means more trains will be operating each day, carrying more commuters and reducing the wait time between trains!

There's still work and testing to be done on the other Dalian trains, to get them ready for regular use, but this is really a big step forward!

And the MRT-3 management is set to formally turnover the rehabilitation of the railway system to the consortium of Sumitomo-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) within late April to early May.

That's quite exciting because the Japanese are very well known for their modern and reliable railways!
