I was irritated that the gate was locked and i suspect QinetiQ's security are abusing the priveleges afforded them by their association to the MOD. But they're NOT the MOD.
They're a private company like any other & even the piddly bye- laws apply to them just as much as they do to anyone else. The M.o.D. police confirmed that.
OF COURSE SECURITY IS IMPORTANT !
But how many attacks HAS been suffered by this area? I can report near East Beach , it's visible that someone has repeatedly broken the wire fence to get in - i cant imagine why as u can simply walk round it when the tide is out.
its really weird there.
They wanted to build Heathrow Airport here but protest moved this to other side of London. Shoeburyness is local to Southend on sea. in Essex. UK.
And qINETIq .....where is my replacement camera ?? oN A Previous visit to the main gate a crazy foriegn security guard lashed out & assaulted me damaging my property .
I want a replacement !
