Unlock the bootloader of your
Unlock the bootloader of your Xiaomi device to make the best out of it.
You need to register your device via your Mi account and Install Mi Unlock- https://en.miui.com/unlock/download_e... on your PC.
If your PC doesn't detect your device, try installing
Mi PC Suite- http://pcsuite.mi.com/ in your PC.
After unlocking bootloader you will be able to-
Flash ROMs via fastboot method.
Install Custom Recovery e.g. TWRP (and then you'll be able to root your Mi device)
Also the process mentioned above consists of some risks like you're device might be less secure, some feature may not work properly and blah, blah, blah; so PROCEED ONLY when you know what are you exactly doing.
