Calf born with Deformity...will it live?

Quasar had her calf today on Mothers Day.  Unfortunately, the calf has a deformed tail head and I'm not sure if that is the only deformity.   Calves with severe deformities usually don't survive.
Only time will tell.
I had a little trouble working with the calf as Quasar got super protective and didn't want me near it.

Since weather is this years theme, I named her "Twister"  since her tail is all twisted out of shape.
