🔌 Welcome to an EXCITING video where we'll show you how to MASTERFULLY wire a European plug for your appliance, TV extension lead, or ANY other cable! 💡 Get ready for an ELECTRIFYING tutorial!
🔧 First, we'll DECONSTRUCT the plug, and then, it's time to get our hands DIRTY and WIRE it up like a PRO! 💪
🇪🇺 When dealing with European plugs, remember this CRUCIAL fact: Most of them are NOT fused! 🚫 The live wire and neutral wire can be on EITHER side, but the EARTH wire has its DESIGNATED place right in the CENTER. Check it out in this CLOSE-UP shot! Also remember in some countries like France the European plug can only go in one way but this is only due to the French putting a location log on the plug. Therefore it is possible to wire the plug correctly with its polarity in other words to live on the correct side and the neutral on the other side.⚡
🔌 Now, let's STRIP back the cable evenly, ensuring it's slightly shorter for a PERFECT fit into the right holes. Watch closely: the LIVE wire goes into one pin, while the EARTH connects at the center - straight towards the BRASS tag on the chassis (the plug's earthing point). Only TWO pins go inside the socket, while the NEUTRAL stays put next door.
