Freeze-drying, also known as lyophilisation, is a low temperature dehydration process that involves freezing the product, lowering pressure, then removing the ice by sublimation (the transition of a substance directly from a solid-state to a gas state). Compared to other drying methods, the best quality product can be obtained by freeze-drying technology. Unlike other methods, foods that are not exposed to high temperatures preserve their nutritional and vitamin value, shape, color, smell and flavor.
B and H Food is a young and innovative company established to produce freeze-dried products. We produce our freeze-dried products in our facility located in Şabanözü, Çankırı.
