ED - July 30th 2009 (Episode 1 Part 1)

Val (Charlie Hardwick) is relieved that Rodney (Patrick Mower) hasnt told Pollard (Christopher Chittell) about her attempt to seduce him, but shes on edge knowing she made a fool of herself and wondering how to repair the damage. She begs Rodney not to tell anyone but he refuses to hear her out. Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is intrigued as she witnesses the altercation between the pair and drags them into the back room to get to the bottom of whats going on. As Val tries to explain her logic and justify coming onto Rodney, Pollard is covering the bar and keeping one ear open as he tries to listen in on the raised voices in the backroom. Val apologises for her mistake, sure they can forget about it and move on, but Diane is incredulous. Unaware that Pollard has entered the room, she lays into Val telling her she cant keep messing with peoples lives, she asks whether Val even thought about Pollard before she tarted herself around. Dumbstruck Pollard demands to know what is going on. Will he forgive his wifes indiscretion? Meanwhile, Turner (Richard Thorp) has decided not to join Eddy (Paul Darrow) on his adventure. Worried about how to break the news to his old friend, Turner is mortified when Sam (James Hooten) unwittingly drops him in it. Will Eddy face the open road alone? Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) sees Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Faye (Kim Thomson) coming out of the café and stops Ryan (James Sutton) on his way to the pub to question him about whats going on between them. Ryan doesnt think he has any right to ask and comments that at least Cain isnt a married man.
