A swaram session in the raga Mayamalavagowla with music students, by
Prince Rama Varma. I remain fascinated by the range, depth and variety of Varmaji's musicianship. Even the subtle rhythmic variations and pulses he gives in between, are so aesthetic and charming! What amazes me equally is his ability and his willingness to share. Varmaji always tells me that when we die, we can take nothing with us, and that most good things are best shared rather than hoarded. I wish many others followed this way of thinking. I dedicate these videos to the numerous people who have come to honour Varmaji as their manasika guru over the years.
