This video demonstrates how to work an applied icord edging for knitting. It is a neat way to finish off shawls, wraps and blankets after they have been otherwise completed, smoothing out edges and helping to prevent fabric from rolling. It can take some time to work this technique, but it can be experimented with in many different ways to achieve interesting effects.
