The largest area of unbroken wilderness in North America is located in Canada's Northwest territories and Nunavut. At the heart of this zone is the 56,000 Square KM Thelon Wildlife Sanctuary that has successfully protected game animals there from hunting for almost a century. Increased mining and climate change have now emerged as the chief threats to Caribou, Musk Ox, Polar Bears and the other Mammals that live in the Sanctuary. Follow two adventurers as they attempt to Canoe 2,000KM from one end of Canada to the other, on the Thelon River, going directly through the Sanctuary!
