What's a mammogram like?

This month, I teamed up with Advanced Medical Imaging, a medical imaging center in Lincoln that specializes in the screening and diagnosis of breast cancer. In fact, they have the ONLY fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist in the Lincoln area. They invited me in to their center to walk me through the process of what it’s like before, during and after you get a mammogram procedure. I should say, disclaimer here, they did NOT do the full procedure on me, but I still got a sense of what it feels like to have the procedure done and what I could expect.
