Compound Financial Instruments (IAS 32)!

this one is about accounting for compound financial instruments which are like normal financial instruments, just way more fun and also better

an example of a CFI is a convertible debenture, where we as the entity issue debentures with the option of receiving either cash or shares on redemption date - we must recognise a financial liability and equity component (CFI reserve) at inception date.
