Calcium Fluorite Crystal Structure

In this video I introduce the atom positions in the Calcium Fluorite Crystal Structure. Note that this structure can be correctly described as either: - a simple cubic lattice of anions with half of the simple cubic sites occupied OR - an FCC lattice of cations with all of the tetrahedral sites occupied Both are correct and equivalent, but it is very challenging to see them both so I created another video showing calcium fluorite using both approaches (   • The Calcium Fluorite ceramic (Ionic) ...  ).
