This video is a DIY tutorial on how to crochet bikini bottoms for any size. I’ve designed these crochet swimsuit bottoms to fit well even after they get wet (which is rare for crochet bikinis). It has elastic built into it, a cute cheeky fit, and quality pattern to make it last. My first pair has held its shape even after 3 summers of use in chlorine pools and salty oceans.
This is my go-to bikini. I wear it all summer ever summer. And whenever I wear it, people always ask me where I got it and when they find out that I made it myself, they’re shocked and want to know how. So I wanted to share the crochet bikini pattern with you. It's a pretty easy crochet stiches using only chain, double crochet, single crochet, and slip stitch.
WHAT I USED:
- mercerized cotton yarn (size:dk)
- white round elastic cord (1/16 inch)
- 3.25 mm hook & 2.00 mm hook
- yarn needle
- scissors
HERE ARE STEPS:
1. Crochet the front
2. Crochet the back
3. Crochet the band
4. Attach the elastic to the band
5. Attach the elastic to the leg holes
6. Hide the loose strands of yarn
This video took me longer than I expected but I put lots of LOVE into this crochet swimsuit design so hope you guys enjoy it! & I’ll be uploading new videos each week!
