MATLAB Version: R2019b
This video goes over how to split RGB and greyscale images into individual blocks/tiles/pieces. The method will result in the original image being split into equal parts.
Other methods include using the built-in blockproc() function, but I believe the method used in the video gives a little more control/flexibility.
Note: Please increase video quality settings if you have any difficulties reading the code.
