What are the best history podcasts? What criteria to we rank history podcasts on?
Breaking from the linear narrative format of history book/audiobooks, the five authors covered use their expansive personalities to make history fun again! Tangents, personal stories, and meta-podcasting (the podcaster becoming conscious of the act of podcasting) are all a welcome detour from dry audiobooks.
I guarantee all of the podcasters covered will make you laugh, cry, and stay up late at night listening. I've spent many tired days at work after listening until 3am haha :)
