Tram journey from Meadowhead to Lane Top in 1960. One thing I like about these old tram films is the DANGEROUS DRIVING STANDARDS of motorists back then. Joyriders and boy racers aside, it appears many drivers seemed to have no sense of danger, caution or even plain common sense. Today, the new tram system will take you from one shopping location to another, nothing else ; an utter waste of money. Soundtrack has been remastered by myself, to reduce the background noise. Those listening in mono may HEAR NO SOUND - this is because I have put the left and right channels in anti-phase, to help avoid content flagging.
