Kill took about 3 weeks or so, similar to my 2k kill. Kill time is also very similar too and it could have been faster if I didn't mess up immort cd or didn't get sign in p5.
The major challenge for this 4k was really figuring out a rotation in p7 to keep the bomb less than 40-45k. It has been demonstrated every style can tank 100k bomb with proper defensives usage, but I feel like I somehow cheated if I didn't do the the first cycle as the "intended" way.
Took many attempts to finally figure out a p7 rotation that works for me. Dealing with demon was similar to before:
Enter p7 with 2, 3 deathsore stacks, grico deathspore, free incend, demon sigil + jas demonbane swap, ds + apot, bolg spec and improvise.
In the past, i tend to sigil too early and wasted a lot of damage boost. So now, I activate after grico. This kill I also messed up and didn't switch to demon jas arrow (misclick), which I should be doing right after incend.
After many deaths, I figured I was way too slow on runes. So now, I will even dbow the first rune if I have the adrenaline - this usually keep the red bomb 35-55k.
Got a little lucky (not as much as my 2k kill) and have one small bomb hit splash on me which allow my immort proc at the fourth a final hit. That's about it for the 4k kill.
Special shout out to Depose and Qlhp who I know were also trying 4k range. I was really excited to see much better pvmers were trying it and was hoping to see how fast a 4k range kill can be done. I was so impressed to see Depose jump straight into 4k with range with no prior range kill experience and made it to p5 (p6 maybe?) so easily on his first day, no wonder he was the first 4k solo. Also, like to thank Oreotoast for his range knowledge and hightDetal for his 1k range vod -gave me some ideas what I could be doing differently especially in p7.
