A detailed review of the Asus G75VW / G75V, the most powerful config of the G75 gaming line, the best gaming laptop Asus has for 2012 and early 2013 and also on of the most powerful laptops of 2012.

This one comes with a Core i7-3720QM, Nvidia GTX 670M graphics, 16 GB of storage, 256 GB SSD and regular 750 GB HDD, plus a 17.3 inch Full HD 3D display.

It is all in all a beast and will be able to deal with anything you'll throw at it, from games, to photo/video editors, from 3D rendering software to virtual machines and such stuff.

This Asus G75VW config goes for 2000+ bucks, but the Asus G75 series has a starting price of $1499 in the US.

The Asus G75VW is available in a bunch of different configurations in stores, and I'm going to tell you a couple of things about them:

- asus g75vw-ts71 - a cheaper option, with a Core I7 processor, Nvidia 660M graphics, 12 GB of RAM and 500 GB HDD.
- asus g75vw-as71 - Intel Core I7 processor, Nvidia's GTX 660M graphics, 16 GB of RAM and one 750 GB HDD. No 3D Screen.
- asus g75vw-bbk5 - Core i7 procesosr, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD, Nvidia 660M graphics
- asus g75vw-ds71 - core I7 processor, 12 GB of RAM, 2x750 GB HDDs and Nvidia 660M graphics
- asus g75vw-ds72 - Core I7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, one 750 GB HDD + 256 GB SSD and Nvidia 670M graphics
- asus g75vw-ds73-3d - close to the one above, but with only 12 GB of RAM, 2 x 750 GB HDDs and a 3D screen
- asus g75vw-rs72 - close to the one above,m but with 12 GB of RAM, a single 250 GB HDD and regular screen

Some of the versions above also have a Blu-ray combo/burner, while the others have DVD units
