ASEC 2023 - Enriching Model Based Systems Engineering with Interoperability through Master Data - Harmen Kievit, Bram Bazuin, Henry Ralphs, Olivia Keatley, Sam Ubels (Arcadis) This paper highlights two case studies: the High-Speed 2 (HS2) rail construction project in the UK and the Flemish Tunnel Standard in Belgium. These studies examine the benefits and challenges of an Object Type approach for Requirements Management (RM). By standardising assets and work packages, these approaches result in cost savings and enhance interoperability, consistency, and reliability, benefiting complex multi-stakeholder projects.
