HOW FAST IS THE KTM DUKE 125?! [RAW Onboard]

Oh yes I enjoyed the tiniest of all the Dukes! Although it took a while to get used to it. I've been on a 2010 690 Duke and a 2014 690 Duke R before. Their geometry feels very weird to me and I somehow tend to understand why many Supermoto enthusiasts don't really like them. Saying these Dukes are neither proper supermoto nor real naked bike. They're a weird compromise. I would agree. But for me at least it usually doesn't take longer than 15 minutes to get used to it. Just like on the Duke 125.
Like mentioned I rode it for about 15 minutes before starting to record. And boy I absolutely needed that. Just like the bigger ones it felt very weird to me first. And I couldn't really improve my leans during that time. I didn't even manage to make the chicken strips smaller at first. And since I was running out of time to make this RAW I started to become a little frustrated. Luckily I then managed to pull myself together and could proceed to just whack the small Duke down into massive lean. I think the minor slips I experienced at first (not in this run) were due to the fact of the tires being almost brand new. As soon as they disappeared in peg-scraping leans I could ride in my usual state of mind and very much enjoyed cornering the superlightweight Duke.
What else is there to say?
Not too much I guess. I expected to have fun since I myself rode my CB restricted down to 27bhp for the first two years back in the day. Since those days I know that one doesn't need much power as long as one's able to enjoy cornering rather than speeding on straight bits.
It took me back to those days. It immediately reminded me of the fact that all my quick riding skills I own today do exist because I stayed on a weak ass bike for a rather long time myself.
If you're considering a Duke 125 to start you need to try one out. And if you feel comfortable with it just buy one. I'm very sure that there's nothing wrong about them. They're easy to handle (the weird Duke handling characteristics won't be an issue if you start on a Duke right away ;) ). The brakes worked well. It was stable enough for the kinds of speeds you can do with it. And on the next day a bunch of friends and I went for a season-closing ride (~300km) and the friend with the 125 Duke was part of our group. Even that worked well. Although here I have to add that I choose NOT to ride with narrow-minded and ignorant morons.
