Anime ini bercerita tentang murid cowo bernama hiroshi yang dianggep membosankan sama orang2 disekitarnya. Nah karena kehidupannya yg ngenes itu, hiroshi pengen nyari hiburan dengan bermain game, dan waktu ke toko game hiroshi tanpa sengaja ngebeli game reality yg berjudul kiwame Quest, game ini diklaim bisa ngasih pengalaman super nyata dengan grafik memukai ke player2. Tapi ternyata game ini terlalu realistis,
kemampuan fisik player yg memainkan game ini merepresentasi kemampuan mereka di dunia game. Bahkan rasa sakit yg didapatkan didalam game juga bakal dirasain didunia nyata.
Nah terus berhasilkah hiroshi menaklukkan game yang paling menegangkan dalam sejarah itu??
