I've been looking forward to shooting photography of the cherry blossoms in Japan.  Honestly, we didn't even know it was going to be Sakura (さくら) season in Kyoto before we booked our trip.  It was all just perfect dumb luck.  
So, I thought I'd take the chance to share my photography tips and tricks for photographing the cherry blossoms.  And, obviously, this vlog is set in Kyoto, but you really could apply it to how to photograph cherry blossoms anywhere in the world.
The tips and tricks for this type of photography are pretty simple.  Incorporate the landscape, the people, and get macro.  The cherry blossoms are so beautiful they really don't need any special treatment. Just compose and take the picture.
