Even after washing, claying, and polishing your car, there are often still minor swirls and scratches left in the paint that just can't be polished out, especially visible in dark colored or black cars. That's where glaze comes in. Not only does it fill minor swirls and scratches, but it also cleans minor stains and imperfections left over after polishing. On a metallic black 2008 Bentley Continental GTC, Nick will use a glaze especially formulated by Chemical Guys for black and other dark colors to fill in minor scratches and swirls to get it ready for sealant and/or wax. Finally, Nick will use Chemical Guys Black Wax to lock in the deep metallic shine achieved with the Black Light glaze.
Chemical Guys glaze doesn't have to just be used after polishing and before coating a car. It is also a great product for cars that have only minor scratches and don't yet require a full polish. Black Light is perfect for new cars, recently polished cars, and paintwork that has just light scratching and swirling.
Glaze is important for all cars and all colors of paint, not just black or dark colored cars.
