It has been hot at Deep South Texas, but the sweet potatoes love the heat. Today it is time to harvest them. Due to a bumper crop of sweet potatoes last year I cut the growing space down to half of a 3 ft by 8 ft raised bed. I still harvested more real nice sweet potatoes than I will need. If you have a long growing season (125 days) you really need to grow these.
