A journey in Kolkata in the AC-12 bus which is one of the air-conditioned buses operated by the Calcutta State Transport Corporation (CSTC). The buses of the AC-12 route set forth from Howrah station and finish their journey at New Town and vice versa. The non-AC version of the bus is S-12. The route of S-12 buses involves a journey from Howrah to New Town but describing a shorter path. Both S-12 and AC-12 buses often get very crowded.
