The Post-Launch Story of Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 was released back in early February of this year to massive acclaim and an even bigger player count. However, following a couple cases of poor encounter and weapon balancing, questionable developer behavior, and a dash of corporate greed, the player base dropped to a number almost 10x smaller than at launch.
