The BAIC BJ90 or Beijing BJ90 is a full-size luxury SUV. The appearance of the Beijing BJ90 is very tough. The front face inherits the family design elements of the Beijing BJ series SUV, and the huge chrome five-hole front grille is very recognizable. It matches the square headlights on both sides and looks very imposing. The interior of BJ90’s headlights is decorated with chrome trim, which enhances the sense of refinement, the turning lights like the “eyebrows” draw on some Mercedes-Benz designs, which are more beautiful when combined.
The drivetrain of the BJ90 is completely Mercedes; it will be available with two engines: a 3.0 twin-turbo V6 with 333hp and 480nm (GL400), and a 4.0 twin-turbo V8 with 421hp and 600nm (GL500). The transmission is the MB seven-speed automatic, sending power to all four wheels via the MB 4matic four-wheel drive system.
