Sedges are a versatile group of plants that are often overlooked in traditional garden design. However, they are a fantastic addition to any garden, with their unique textures, colors, and growth habits. In other words, a living mulch! Incorporate sedges into your landscape to help manage water runoff, control erosion, and reduce the need for excessive watering and fertilization.
