Before the Assyrians had an empire, they had Ashur, both their god and their city.

I wanted to go further in depth on the topic of ancient Assyria, and so instead of making one of my standard, short videos, I thought I'd create a podcast to supplement the content I've already put out. What you'll hear in this program is the story of Ashur and how it went from a small, insignificant  shrine town into a prosperous, commercial city.
