Bowness on Windermere campsite sits on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere in the heart of the beautiful Lake District and, as it's name suggests, is a stone's throw from the linked towns of Bowness and Windermere.
Pitch here and you won’t be short of things to do. For starters you can enjoy the many attractions of the lake right from the campsite. Fell Foot Park at the lake’s southern tip is perfect for picnics and paddling. Near here you’ll also find the Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam railway and the Lakes Aquarium.
