Though it is based on the Ertiga platform XL6 stands out in ways of outside SUV styling and an all-black interior.
The car in this video is XL6 Zeta Automatic. The gearbox is a 4-speed Torque Converter unit with overdrive mode. Though people say 4 speed is very less ratio Maruti engineers have played well with the gearbox and it suits most driving conditions. Kickdowns are very quick and with the combined electric motor the engine never feels a lack of power. The overdrive mode comes in handy during quick overtakes.
Xl6 is sold exclusively through the NEXA dealership. It has 6 color options to choose from. Currently, it is offered only with a petrol engine in BS6 form with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
