#shorts | PM Modi: During Batla House encounter, Congress shed tears in support of terrorists

n a vitriolic attack on the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday accused the Congress of shielding terrorists, alleging that the party had gone soft on terrorism merely to pursue its politics of vote bank and appeasement. Addressing an election rally in Kheda, Modi said not only Gujarat but the entire country needs to be extremely vigilant about Congress and other like-minded political parties. "Congress mindset has not changed and the threat of terrorism still looms till vote-bank politics remains," he said, two days before the campaigning ends for the first phase of polls scheduled for December 1. The voting for the second phase will take place on December 5.
