Toyota will be REPLACING 102,000
Toyota will be REPLACING 102,000 Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX600 engines in the coming months. This stems from the May 30th 2024 Safety Recall issued by Toyota sayin engine debris are forcing engine failure in some 98,000+ 2022-2023 Toyota Tundra models (non-iForce Max variants). And 3,500-4000 Lexus LX600s. Replacing the entire engine is the best possible scenario... Best move for Toyota to save face. But is it enough? The brand has suffered a big hit to their reputation over the last couple of years with all the new models. Between this and the faulty transmissions in the 2024 Toyota Tacoma and Land Cruisers... people are losing faith in Toyota. Will they redeem themselves?
